Major Housing Development - Stornoway Airport Site - Public Consultation

CalMax Construction Ltd, in partnership with Tighean Innse Gall (TIG), are bringing forward proposals for a major residential development of 94 homes on land adjacent to Stornoway Airport.

The views of the community are an important part of the planning process, and we invite you to attend our in-person consultation events.

The first consultation will be held on 28th October 2025 from 1pm to 7pm at Sandwick Hall, followed by a second drop-in session on 17th November 2025 also from 1pm to 7pm. These are public engagement meetings, and everyone is welcome to attend and provide feedback.

Any comments received during the first consultation will be considered and responded to at the second drop-in event.

Please note: Comments received as part of these consultations are not formal representations to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar as Planning Authority. Instead, feedback will be recorded and summarised in a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) Report, which will be submitted alongside any future planning application.

There will be further opportunities to make formal representations directly to the Planning Authority once a planning application has been submitted.
